I honestly miss Virginia, the Bishop and everyone there are the best family you can ask for. Peoples lives matter too. My old bishop was given the position for a purpose. To carry out his callings and care for not just his family but the members of the church. I've came to deland church and a very few people came up to me and said anything, they just stood there and stared of course I felt awkward but I managed to speak with the council to see if I can set an appointment with the Bishop in regards to an issue I was having. I just wanted advise and someone to listen to in these darken days. The councils informed me that they would schedule an appointment which got moved to Sunday.. Smh... Anyway I miss my old bishop because honest to god this absolutely hurt me deeply to have the run around with these people who have been appointed a great deal of a calling just to show up in church and get the respect while they sit on their pedestal and grin to the gods of none. I've currently moved to Orlando which I felt more welcomed as human being and a child of god. I am truly grateful to have met so many amazing people throughout the world. They have taught me so much and to appreciate life and the people I've met. I've never stopped going to deland church because my grandmother lives there she is devoted to the church and I respect that. I had a calling as a Sunday school teacher in Virgina and boy I love my kids. I've just never been treated this way before in my life, ignored and frustrated with the fact that a bishop cannot help me.. Thank you god bless
