  The BIBLE Baptist Church has been my church home since 1997, beginning shortly after my wife and I got married, and I visited several times before that. All of my seven children have been raised attending this church, and you will not find closer fellowship among Christians anywhere else. Because I travel a bit and attend many churches, and often lead my own services due to family illness or other circumstances, I am not in attendance much of the time, but I never fail to catch up over the internet to the preaching from BBC - I say this not to my own glory, but as a testimony to the worth of the solid teachings to be found at BBC. There is no finer, Christ-honoring, Bible centered church in the country, and I mean that sincerely - no hyperbole intended. Check out the School of the Bible as well. This place is filled EVERY DAY of the week with people learning about or ministering in the name of the Lord.

  I have been attending Bible Baptist of Deland for 9 years now and it truly is the best at teaching exactly what the bible teaches. Brother James is very thorough in his sermons and has some funny ways of explaining things at times. I have made many friends and have enjoyed the different out reach opportunities to give the gospel like the Good News Club. I appreciate very much the church family I have gained from attending such a great tight knit bible teaching church.

  The truth is preached without respect of persons. It is not watered down. There is unity among the brethren and most fellowship revolves around public ministry. Every professing Christian has a responsibility in proclaiming God's word and you will find an opportunity to do so here at Bible Baptist Church.

  I encountered these idiots outside of Wahlburgers. Screaming at people as they walk and drive by with megaphones. My friend who is Christian tried to have an intellectual conversation with them, and they immediately challenged him and told him he was not Christian and he was wrong about everything.
  
  I'm a proud Athiest and as an Athiest I believe that each person has a right to thier own beliefs and not to have those beliefs infringed upon. I believe it takes strength and conviction to remain a believer in God in the world we live in today and I respect those that do.
  
  These people seem to be more about inciting anger than about teaching the message of Christ. Even as a Christian, my friend was verbally attacked and talked to like a child. In specific was the bald gentlemen in the group, who in no way acted like a gentlemen, or a teacher of the message he claimed to be spreading. Something is very odd about this group of people. They do not seem to be peaceful or about spreading love.
  
  No wonder so many people turn away from God when these are the supposed messengers of God. I hope others have a better experience than we did when it comes to this group and the methods they use to teach what is suppose to be a peaceful loving message.
